Kalum Peramune joined hSenid Mobile Solutions in April 2011 as Chief Commercial Officer and has moved to take on the responsibility of the entire gamut of operational management in the Company. He is spearheading the formulation of business strategy & driving the organization towards the business goals set by the board, directing sales and marketing activities in Sri Lanka and overseas, formulating marketing strategies, strengthening financial acumen in the organization and leading the human resource initiatives in formulating strategies to achieve the HR requirements of the organization.

Kalum is a senior management professional with a finance and operational management background. He has 25 years of experience working in trading, manufacturing and financial services organizations where his skills in management and teambuilding have been demonstrated.

Prior to joining hSenid Kalum promoted and managed two private sector companies, one in manufacture of custom designed furniture for local and export markets and another for management and financial services consultancies for a range of corporate clients. His broad range of experience includes business strategy formulation, business development, operational management of finance, production and sales teams, and financial management.Kalum's areas of expertise include financial and business analysis, ability to quickly assimilate, adjust to and work in many different business environments and technologies and the ability to manage and bring out the best in diverse teams of people. He is a practical hands-on person and especially excels in challenging situations.Kalum has been associated with the YMCA movement of Sri Lanka for the last 34 years, serving in various capacities at the National level and at his area YMCA. He has contributed at international YMCA forums and his honorary work at the YMCA has led to his interest in and expertise in working with teams of people from various cultures, backgrounds and skill sets.
