Sampath joined hSenid in May 2000. After holding several positions as Project Leader, Team Leader, Manager for Operations and General Manager he became Director/General Manager of one of hSenid`s divisions: hSenid Business Solutions (HBS).
He manages all HBS functions and reports to Board of Directors on HBS Finance, Business Development, New product development, Business expansions etc. He shares the responsibilities for setting overall company strategies of development and growth. Under his leadership HBS achieved record number of new deals within the corporate sector, while building up a right sales funnel and setting up 24 hours support team for HBS customers. Another success was the achievement of ISO certification through the development of internal hSenid processes.
Sampath works also as an external lecturer at Institute of Management of Sri Lanka and shares his experience and knowledge in HRIS, MIS, Advance ICT, Business statistics, Operations Management etc. He also discourses Project Management, IT professionalism and Ethics, Systems Analysis and Design for undergraduate students.
Sampath is a graduate of University of Colombo, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science. Currently he is completing his degree of Masters of Science in Computer Science from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
