Colombo, Sri Lanka, 20th September 2003. Mobile application providers, enterprises and mobile operators in the Scandinavian countries will soon be presented with the opportunity to buy product and services from the leading Sri Lankan company hSenid Software International. We are currently working with partners that can distribute our products in the region. The company’s CEO, Mr. Dinesh Sapparamadu, will be going on a business linkage trip to Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark in the second week of October 2003. During this trip he will meet with additional business partners.

Mr. Dinesh Saparamadu, the CEO of hSenid, says that “We are very excited about entering the Scandinavian mobile market because we feel that it is the most advanced market of its kind when it comes to mobile technology. Our products and services would be an ideal match to this market!” hSenid’s products range from applications like Mobile banking, mobile e-mail and mobile workforce applications, to entertainment services, games, chat and messaging solutions.

The trip is organized by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board in cooperation with Chambers of Commerce and IT-associations in the Scandinavian countries. It will be a joint effort where several Sri Lankan IT related companies will try to enter the Scandinavian market. The Sri Lankan IT market is highly advances due to the general high level of education in Sri Lanka. The Sri Lankan IT workers are highly competent, and at the same time only require a fraction of the salary of a Scandinavian IT employee.
