Sri Lanka Tea Board selects hSenid for its IT Solutions

Colombo, Sri Lanka, 17th January 2005. Sri Lanka Tea Board (SLTB), Sri Lanka's sole government body which established in 1976 by amalgamating Tea Control Department, Tea Export Control Department and Tea Propaganda Board responsible for regulation, promotion and development of the Tea Industry in Sri Lanka, has selected hSenid Software International (Pvt) Ltd from the recently concluded tender to completely automate activities of SLTB.

Webitpro a division of hSenid for special projects, with its vast experience and knowledge in successfully implementing back office solutions for leading Tea brokering companies, will completely automate activities of SLTB. The complete automation would take SLTB to higher grounds where accuracy, efficiency and productivity could be looked at in a different perception.

"We are glad to be chosen by such a prestigious government institute and with our experience in similar capacity and the domain knowledge in the industry, we are quite confident that we can deliver a solution which would far exceed the expectations of SLTB" said Dinesh Saparamadu, CEO, hSenid Software International.

The new solution for SLTB will be an Extranet with extensions, for all the stakeholders in the tea industry. Starting from an entity registration to consignment approval and quality monitoring, the solution will cover the entire local and international functions of SLTB.

As a part of the solution, hSenid will implement its flagship product, hSenid HRM Enterprise in SLTB. This is to cover both HR management and HR development activities. "Our ability to grasp unique business logics and customize our products to best suite the requirements and the business, gave us the edge in proposing a solution to SLTB", further added the CEO, hSenid Software International.

"hSenid has been able to address the requirements of SLTB and propose a solution, which would bring significant benefits to both SLTB and it's stakeholders in an efficient manner" according to Mr. Niraj De Mel, Chairman Sri Lanka Tea Board.
