hSenid Joins Siemens Advance membership for IMS development |

Singapore, Sri Lanka, 15th June 2006. hSenid Software International, a global software solution provider of Human Resource Management Solutions, Mobile solutions and Software Outsourcing Services, was chosen by Siemens a leading products and service provider in information and communication sector to present their M-BUDDY solution at CommunicAsia2006 in Singapore from the 20th to 23rd of June 2006 at Singapore Expo. The M-BUDDY solution will be an application which would use Siemens Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS).
IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is a standardised Next Generation Networking (NGN) architecture for telecom operators that want to provide mobile and fixed multimedia services. The aim of IMS is not only to provide new services but all the services, current and future, that the Internet provides. In this way, IMS will give network operators and service providers the ability to control and charge for each service. In addition, users have to be able to execute all their services when roaming as well as from their home networks.
hSenid’s M-BUDDY solution with the use of IP multimedia System(IMS), facilitates software entities to act as intelligent buddies including a bank, person, weather, markets, parking lots, libraries, stock exchange etc. currently hSenid is in the process of implementing its mobile stock trading solution (mStocktrading) to be used on Siemens IMS server. |

By using M-buddy The user can initiate phone/VoIP calls to stock brokers without quitting the application, Centralize and customize subscribers’ buddy portfolios, Integrate a variety and infinite number of revenue generating business applications.
The deployed mStocktrading application will be shown as the online buddy-list on the users J2ME enabled mobile phone. The user can search and view company information as well as create customized portfolios by registering the preferred companies to view ticker information. Portfolio of the trading companies’ price fluctuations can be easily determined since changes will be depicted by a changing icon figure. Users can place orders, buy/sell shares, view order status as well as cancel orders. The users are facilitated to contact the relevant brokers via chat/SMS/call. Assuming SMS is selected, this intelligent ‘Buddy’ can respond to user requests coming as IM messages and acts accordingly.
IMS uses open standard IP protocols, defined by the IETF. So, a multimedia session between two IMS users, between an IMS user and a user on the Internet, and between two users on the Internet is established using exactly the same protocol. Moreover, the interfaces for service developers are also based on IP protocols. This is why IMS truly merges the Internet with the cellular world; it uses cellular technologies to provide ubiquitous access and Internet technologies to provide appealing services.
