hSenid, a global software solution provider of Human Resource Management Solutions, Mobile solutions and Software Outsourcing Services emerged with an award at the National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) this year as well. The award ceremony which is an annual event organized by the British Computer Society in the aim of giving recognition to outstanding achievements of individuals and organizations in Sri Lanka who have contributed to the development of ICT, to create a window to gain international recognition for locally developed ICT products and to improve standards and the quality of local ICT products and services to be able to compete in the international market place.
hSenid software international has consecutively won a NBQSA from the year of 1999. “We are proud to announce that we were awarded the “Bronze”, for the E-Government and Services Application for the North East Coastal Community Development Project (NECCDEP) at the National Best Quality Software Awards this year” said Dinesh Saparamadu CEO of hSenid.
NECCDEP was a project initiated due to the tragic events of the recent past such as the tsunami where it drew the government and NGOs into reconstruction of the north and east communities. Project conducted by the Sri Lankan government aiming the development of north and east communities is named as North East Coastal Community Development Project (NECCDEP). The special community segments and areas to be developed have been identified by the NECCDEP and it was highlighted that hSenid was the very first service provider to launch a web based MIS system in a North East Community Development Project.
NBQSA 2007 will be followed by the Asia Pacific ICT Awards competition ensuring that regional / international standards are met. 10 Award winners at the NBQSA will be eligible to participate at the APICTA 2007 competition, which is to be held this year from 26th to 30th November in Singapore. The Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) is an international Awards Program initiated by the Multimedia Development Corporation of Malaysia to increase ICT awareness in the community and assist in bridging the Digital Divide. This award and its auxiliary activities provide an excellent platform for networking, increasing awareness and product benchmarking to ICT innovators and entrepreneurs in the region.
hSenid has been chosen as one of the 10 nominees who will be representing Sri Lanka at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards 2007 (APICTA) in Singapore. hSenid will be showcasing their award winning MIS System which was built for the North East Coastal Community Development Project (NECCDEP) which is a comprehensive solution providing a flexible and an easy-to-use method to capture information, monitor project progress, analyze & evaluate the progress and generate reports. The system has streamlined the manual tedius processes thus giving and efficient and an accurate working environment. An added advantage of this was the ability to monitor the financial and the physical progress of the on-going projects effectively. These have been some of the main factors that have been considered when the hSenid solution was selected as one of the nominations for this prestigious event. |
